We are very pleased to announce the nominees for the Regina Communicator Awards!

IABC/Regina Volunteer of the Year Award

The IABC/Regina Volunteer Award is meant to recognize chapter volunteers who through their volunteer work, have made an outstanding contribution to IABC/Regina, the Canada West Region, the International organization and/or the IABC membership. This year’s nominees are:

·         Alison Barton – Board Member for IABC/Regina

·         Leah Sharpe – Board Member for IABC/Regina

·         Megan Wolfinger – Board Member for IABC/Regina

·         Tony Playter – Board Member for IABC Canada West Region

IABC/Regina Rising Star of the Year Award

The IABC/Regina Rising Star Communicator Award is meant to recognize a Regina communicator with less than five years of experience who has demonstrated a commitment to the communication field in a professional capacity. This year’s nominees are:

·         Alyssa Pittet – Communications Consultant for Ministry of Central Services

·         Andy Goodson – Travel Counsellor for Tourism Saskatchewan

IABC/Regina Dynamite Communicator of the Year Award

The IABC/Regina Dynamite Communicator Award is meant to recognize a Regina communicator at any level who has demonstrated a commitment to the communication field in a professional capacity. This year’s nominees are:

·         Rae Anne Moen – Manager of Infrastructure Communication for SaskPower

·         Sharon Christie – Communications Consultant for the Public Employees Benefits Agency

IABC/Regina Award for Communications Contribution

The IABC/Regina Award for Outstanding Communication Contribution is meant to recognize a Regina communicator who has made an outstanding contribution to the communication field, either in a volunteer or professional capacity. This year’s nominees are:

·         Claire Watson – Vice-President of Cropley Communication,

·         Rob Bryanton – President of Talking Dog Studios

IABC/Regina Executive Communicator of the Year Award

The IABC/Regina Executive Communicator Award is meant to recognize a Regina-based executive leader (including CEOs, presidents, deputy ministers, chairs, etc.) who exemplifies excellence in communications and demonstrates strong commitment to communication in their professional work. This year’s nominees are:

·         Andrew Will – Chief Executive Officer, Health Shared Services Saskatchewan (3sHealth)

·         Mary-Lynn Charlton – President, Martin Charlton Communications
